Acts 4: 29-31, John 14: 12-13, Luke 8: 43-48
LIFE CHANGE THROUGH THE SUPERNATURAL
Having faith in all things includes faith in the miraculous! We have all experienced things in our life that seem inexplicable, (like why do people think Lebron James is equal to Michael Jordan…ok that’s not where we are going today) During Jesus’s ministry, He performed miracles, signs, and wonders to demonstrate His love and compassion for people by healing the sick, raising the dead, and walking on water. These miracles testified to those who witnessed Jesus's power and authority as the Son of God. The Bible is clear that the power of the Holy Spirit lives within those who believe and know Jesus! Jesus commissioned us, as his followers, to extend His love and compassion to the world and to witness the power of Christ through miracles, signs, and wonders. We have faith that God can do the impossible and is behind inexplicable things. As we pray for God to move in what the world may deem impossible, we ask God to open our eyes to see His power at work. There is power in collective prayer and belief! As we see the miraculous occur, we will glorify the name of Jesus as the author of all things good. We join our faith expecting Him to show up in our lives through miracles, signs, and wonders.
Put It Into Practice:
Lord, I thank you for your glory and your goodness. I thank you for your compassion! Thank you that you have a heart to heal, a heart for restoration, and a heart for life to the fullest. I pray that you increase my awareness of you today. I repent for times I have tried to take credit or claim responsibility for your work in my life. I repent for my pride. I pray for you to expand my faith for signs, miracles, and wonders. Speak to me today! Renew my heart, restore my motives, and transform me for your glory. Bring life change in my life so my life may be a testimony of your goodness and your greatness. In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.
